Hunger strike crushed, its impact spreads

The impact of the hunger strike in Guantanamo continues to spread, even after it has apparently been crushed. According to Pentagon sources, only a handful of individuals are continuing. It began in July last year, apparently involved nearly half of the prisoners by September, and was still going strong in December.
